// Industries

Same studio. Different constraints.

Nine industry verticals where we do our deepest work. Same BUILD, DESIGN, GROW pipeline — but the constraints, the data model and the definition of “done” are decided by the sector, not by us.

Why Industry Context Changes The Work

A booking flow, a checkout and a loan application are three different problems that look similar in a portfolio. They are not the same engineering.

[01] context

Constraints Before Features

Data handling rules, licensing terms and accessibility obligations narrow the design space before anyone argues about a feature list. We read those first.

[02] context

The Integrations Are The Product

In most of these sectors the hard part is not the interface. It is the feed, the payer, the MLS, the machine protocol or the FHIR server behind it.

[03] context

Success Is Sector-Specific

Activation means a booked consultation in one sector and a first completed module in another. We agree the metric before we build toward it.

[04] context

Honest Scope Edges

We are a product studio, not an auditor, a regulator, a fulfilment network or a machine integrator. Each vertical page says plainly where we stop.

Nine Verticals

Each page covers the operational problems, the constraints we cannot engineer around, the technical decisions, what we do not do, and indicative fixed-fee engagement shapes.

vertical_01 vertical

SaaS & Software

Multi-tenant architecture, metering and billing accuracy, public API surface, and the onboarding that decides whether anyone stays.

Multi-tenant Billing Public API
vertical_02 vertical

E-commerce & Retail

Storefronts and checkouts that survive peak events, stock that cannot oversell, catalog systems, and the SEO that faceted navigation usually breaks.

Checkout Inventory Feeds
vertical_03 vertical

Fintech & Financial Services

Double-entry money movement, reconciliation jobs, KYC and monitoring flows, and audit trails. Built for the perimeter your counsel sets, not ours.

Ledger Reconciliation KYC
vertical_04 vertical

Healthcare & Health Tech

Patient portals, scheduling, telehealth and HL7/FHIR integration layers, built with the safeguards PHI handling demands and accessibility obligations.

PHI FHIR Accessibility
vertical_05 vertical

Real Estate & PropTech

Licensed listing feeds, fast and accurate map search, lead routing that works at 9pm on a Sunday, and local SEO down to the brokerage office.

Professional Services & Consultancies

Client portals, proposal systems, knowledge bases, and time capture friction light enough that people actually use it.

Proposals Knowledge ABM
vertical_07 vertical

Education & EdTech

Course delivery, assessment integrity, LMS integration, and accessible interfaces for learner and administrator populations.

LMS Assessment WCAG
vertical_08 vertical

Manufacturing & B2B

Shop-floor and OEE interfaces, quoting engines for configured products, ERP integration layers, and B2B demand generation.

Web3, Crypto & Blockchain

Event indexers, dApp frontends and signing UX, off-chain services and contract test suites, prepared for an audit we do not ourselves issue.

What Stays The Same

The industry changes the constraints. The way we work does not change with it.

mod_build active

Build

Full-stack engineering, architecture that survives contact with real data, and infrastructure your team can run without us. Fixed-fee scope, never hourly.

mod_design active

Design

Interface design with accessibility and performance treated as requirements rather than a later cleanup pass.

Grow

Search, lifecycle and acquisition systems built on instrumentation we wired in during the build, not bolted on after launch.

What We Do Not Do

Stated here so you can find out in the first conversation rather than the third month.

No Audits Or Attestations

We do not audit, assess, certify or attest HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS, SOC 2, FERPA or ISO 27001. We build to your auditor findings. The attestation is issued to you, by a qualified third party.

No Licensed Or Certified Status

We are not a licensed money transmitter, an MLS member, a medical device manufacturer, a QSAR, a penetration testing firm or a law firm.

No Hourly Billing

Everything we scope is a fixed fee. If a scope cannot be fixed responsibly, we will say so instead of sending a timesheet.

No Invented Proof

We do not publish client names, revenue figures, rankings or case-study metrics we have not been given permission to publish.

How An Industry Engagement Is Shaped

Indicative phase structure. Not a quote, not a rate card, and not a promise of a date. Scope is agreed in writing before any of this begins.

phase_01

Context Review

Your sector constraints, obligations and existing systems read before a single feature is proposed. Fixed fee, small, and the cheapest phase we run.

phase_02

Scope And Architecture

Written scope, data model, integration map and the decision record for anything irreversible. You approve this before build starts.

phase_03

Build

The main fixed-fee tranche. Regular demos against the written scope. Change requests are quoted separately rather than absorbed silently.

phase_04

Launch Readiness

Instrumentation, security hardening, accessibility pass, backup and restore rehearsal, and documentation handover.

phase_05

Support Or Hand Over

A priced maintenance retainer if you want us in the loop, or a documented handover and a walkthrough if you want your own team to own it.
