// Industries / Manufacturing & B2B

The ERP is right. The shop floor disagrees.

Interfaces built for gloves, lighting and mis-use. Machine data that survives a dropped connection. Quoting engines for products nobody stocks. And integration layers that assume your ERP has no usable API, because usually it does not.

The Problems We Actually Get Called About

Manufacturing failures rarely come from the software. They come from the gap between what the system records and what the plant actually did.

[01] problem

Reality Lives Outside The System

Paper travellers, whiteboard schedules and verbal handovers. The ERP is correct as of last Tuesday, which is not the same as correct.

[02] problem

Machine Data Nobody Collects

Downtime, cycle time and state transitions exist in the controller and never leave it. Without collection there is no OEE, only opinion about OEE.

[03] problem

Quoting Thousands Of Configurations

Material, labour, burden, finish, tooling, freight and terms all move. A quote copied from the last one is a margin problem discovered at month end.

[04] problem

Supply Volatility

Lead times swing, allocations appear, expedites cost more than the part. Which decisions get made on which data is the whole operational question.

[05] problem

Traceability Is A Legal Thread

From supplier lot to serial number to shipment. If the chain is not append-only, a recall becomes archaeology.

[06] problem

Two Systems, One Reality

CRM says the order is confirmed, ERP says the stock is short, and the customer was told a date by a human. Reconciling those three is an entire job title.

What We Build Here

Industrial interface work and integration layers. We are explicit about where our competence stops.

build active

BUILD: Plant And Pipeline Systems

Shop-floor work order and inspection interfaces, machine data collection, OEE reporting, a rules-based quoting engine with effective-dated versioning, and ERP and CRM integration layers built to the APIs that actually exist.

DESIGN: Industrial Interface

High-contrast, large-target, glove-usable interfaces that tolerate bad lighting and dirty screens, offline-tolerant flows that never lose a completed entry, and a design system shared with your dealer-facing sites.

Constraints And Where We Stop

Industrial work has a boundary between software engineering and other engineering disciplines. We stay firmly on our side of it.

We Are Not Control System Engineers

We build software. We do not do process re-engineering as a consulting engagement, PLC or SCADA programming, machine commissioning, robotics integration, or electrical work. We build the interface people use around your equipment.

Nothing We Build Is Safety-Certified

If a user interface drives machinery or sits on a safety function, functional safety obligations apply and require qualified practitioners and validated processes. Our operator interfaces are advisory: hard safety belongs in properly designed and validated control systems, not in a web application.

Export And Trade Controls Are Legal

Export control classification, restricted-party screening and sector-specific regulation are your legal and compliance functions. We implement what you instruct, correctly and auditable. We do not classify your products.

ERP Implementation Is Not Our Job

We integrate with the ERP you have chosen. We are not an ERP vendor, we do not implement ERP selection or migration programmes, and we do not replace the finance or supply chain system of record. Sometimes that is exactly what you need us to say.

Technical Decisions That Matter Here

Connectivity, definitions and auditability. None of them are optional in a plant.

[01] technical

Offline First, Replay On Reconnect

Shop-floor tablets buffer locally and replay. Conflict handling is explicit per entity, and a partially completed work order is never silently overwritten.

[02] technical

Machine Data Through A Real Protocol

OPC-UA and MTConnect subscriptions with a tag model agreed with controls engineering. Store-and-forward buffers for connectivity drops, with gaps visible rather than interpolated.

[03] technical

OEE Defined Once, In The Schema

Availability, performance and quality are calculated from agreed definitions and shift calendars. Vendors define these differently, so the definition is data, not code scattered across reports.

[04] technical

Quoting Is A Versioned Rules Engine

Rules carry effective dates, approval and an audit of which version priced which quote. Repricing a year of quotes has to be a supported operation, not a manual exercise.

[05] technical

Traceability Is Append-Only

Supplier lot, operation, serial and shipment events are never edited in place. Corrections are compensating events in the same chain.

[06] technical

Assume The Integration Is Awkward

Plan for ERP APIs that are slow, rate-limited, undocumented or absent, and for flat-file schedules that arrive at 2am. The integration layer absorbs it so the application does not have to.

Mapped To Real Services

Every capability below is an existing WebNuvexa service page.

map --vertical manufacturing

➤ Custom Software — CMMS, work orders, traceability, quality workflows and back-office operations tooling.

➤ API Development — ERP, CRM and machine-data adapters with contract tests and replayable payloads.

➤ Web Development — Operator and supervisor interfaces designed for the shop floor, not the office.

➤ Mobile App Development — Tablet applications for work orders, inspections and downtime capture that tolerate weak connectivity.

➤ SaaS Development — Multi-entity platforms for groups with plants, brands or distributor networks.

➤ Legacy Modernization — Layering modern interfaces over MES and plant systems nobody wants to replace yet.

➤ DevOps & Cloud — Edge deployment, store-and-forward sync, and plant-to-cloud connectivity design.

➤ Web Design — Distributor, dealer and OEM-facing sites with specification-led journeys.

➤ UI/UX Design — High-contrast, large-target, glove-usable interfaces built for industrial conditions.

➤ Design Systems — One component system spanning OEM site, distributor portal and internal tooling.

➤ SEO — Part number, specification and application-led search visibility.

➤ Technical SEO — Templating for very large part catalogues and structured data for product listings.

➤ Content Marketing — Application guides, selection criteria and technical content your engineers review.

➤ Account-Based Marketing — Named-account programmes aimed at procurement and engineering buyers specifically.

➤ Paid Advertising — Search and trade campaigns against specification and application-intent terms.

➤ Digital Marketing — Distributor co-marketing, trade event support and enquiry routing by region.

➤ AI Development — Document and enquiry extraction with evaluation, guardrails and human confirmation.

➤ Chatbots & Assistants — Part number, specification and availability enquiries routed to sales engineering.

➤ Conversion Rate Optimization — Quote request and specification flows tested against a quoted-rate rate.

➤ Maintenance & Support — Support aligned to plant shutdown windows rather than office hours.

Indicative Engagement Shapes

Illustrative fixed-fee phase structures only. Plant visits and discovery with controls and operations staff are usually required before a firm number is possible.

phase_01

Systems And Plant Discovery

What the ERP and MES actually expose, what the controllers can publish, the current definition of a work order, the agreed OEE formula, and the connectivity you genuinely have on the floor.

phase_02

Integration And Core Build

The main fixed-fee tranche: the adapter layer, one operator-facing workflow end to end, and the data model that keeps traceable records traceable.

phase_03

Pilot On One Line

A limited rollout on a single line or cell, with the existing system still running, and the comparison data that proves whether the new figure is real before you commit to it.

retainer

Planned Support

A separately priced retainer scheduled around planned shutdowns, covering integration changes, interface work, and the reliability fixes that only appear in production.

Who This Is Not For

Honest filters on industrial work.

Process Control Or Machine Retrofit

PLC and SCADA programming, machine retrofits, robotics and electrical work are specialist trades with their own qualifications. We do not attempt them.

Safety-Certified Interfaces

If a screen sits on a safety function, it needs a validated engineering process. We build advisory operator and supervisor software, and we will say so rather than let that boundary blur.

Plant Rollout And Operator Training

We build software and support its deployment. We are not a plant-side integration contractor, and we do not run operator training programmes or manage a rollout across sites.

ERP Selection Or Replacement

If the answer is to replace the system of record, that is an ERP programme with an ERP vendor. We are the integration layer on top of the one you have.
