// Industries / Education & EdTech
Learning products built for the whole population.
Course delivery, progress and assessment engines, LMS integration, and interfaces that work on a five-year-old phone with a screen reader turned on, because in education that is the baseline rather than the enhancement.
The Problems We Actually Get Called About
Education technology problems are usually about the edges: bandwidth, assistive technology, cohort peaks, and whether anyone can still use the content in three years.
Media Is The Bandwidth
Video and audio dominate the bandwidth budget. Playback that stalls repeatedly through a lesson is worse for completion than having no video at all.
Progress Semantics Are Ambiguous
Started, resumed, viewed, completed, and passed are five different events. Most disputes about completion come from a progress model nobody wrote down.
Assessment Integrity And Fairness
Proctoring, question banks, randomisation, attempt limits and academic-integrity policy. AI-assisted answers raise questions your policy has to answer before the software does.
Accessibility Is Non-Negotiable
Public education bodies commonly contractually require a stated WCAG conformance level, and it is a legal duty in several jurisdictions. It cannot be a later enhancement ticket.
Learners Are Often Minors
Consent, guardian access and data minimisation for younger learners are design requirements, not policy documents written after launch.
Institutions Buy, Learners Use
Two populations, two interfaces, and a procurement cycle measured in months. Adoption is a change-management problem with a software component.
What We Build Here
Delivery quality and accessibility are engineering decisions, not content decisions. We treat them as such.
BUILD: Learning Systems
Course delivery front-ends, LMS and CMS integration, progress and assessment engines with server-side scoring, learner, educator and administrator portals, and reporting that produces evidence rather than screenshots.
DESIGN: Accessible Learning UI
A WCAG-oriented component library, semantic structure throughout, focus management for long single-page tasks, caption support for prerecorded media, and low-bandwidth fallbacks.
GROW: Enrolment And Reach
Programme and catchment search visibility, admissions nurture journeys, enrolment funnel testing, and alumni re-engagement for institutions that are more than a product.
Constraints And Where We Stop
Education carries statutory duties around learner data and accessibility. We are explicit about which of them we do not hold.
We Do Not Attest Learner-Data Compliance
WebNuvexa does not audit, assess, certify or attest FERPA, COPPA, GDPR-K or any equivalent national education data regime, and we issue no compliance certificates. We implement technical controls that support your programme: role-scoped access, consent and guardian flows designed in from the start, data minimisation, audit logging, and retention rules encoded in the data model. Your institution's compliance officer, data protection officer and counsel own every determination.
Children And Minors Change The Design
Age-appropriate consent, guardian delegation, restricted data collection and reduced retention are architectural decisions in education products. Retrofitting them after collecting data the wrong way is not possible.
Accreditation Is Your Process
If a programme requires evidence for an accreditor, that is an institutional process with an external body. We can produce evidence artefacts (analytics, logs, documentation, accessibility testing records), but we do not represent to accreditors and we do not prepare submissions.
Accessibility Conformance Is Yours
We build and test to the WCAG level you specify, including keyboard operation, focus order, screen-reader passes and caption tracks. The conformance determination, the accessibility statement and any VPAT or ACR are produced and owned by your institution, not by us.
Technical Decisions That Matter Here
Media, progress and assessment are where education platforms quietly lose trust.
Media Delivery Is A Separate Problem
Signed, expiring asset URLs, resumable playback from a stored position, adaptive bitrate where the budget allows, and caption tracks as a required field rather than an upload extra.
Progress Is An Event Log
Progress arrives as immutable events with idempotency keys from several clients. Completion state is derived, so a duplicated event or a retried request cannot inflate a learner's record.
Scoring Happens Server-Side
Answers are graded on the server against a versioned question bank. The client never learns the correct answer, and attempt limits are enforced in the data model rather than the interface.
Integrity Events Are Logged Separately
Assessment integrity signals are recorded as their own event stream so they can be reviewed by policy owners without touching learner data tables or the grading path.
Institution Isolation In The Data Layer
District, institution, cohort and role isolation enforced where the data lives, with configurable role models that differ meaningfully between education, administrator, learner and guardian roles.
Retention Rules Live In The Schema
Student records follow statutory retention schedules. Retention and deletion rules are part of the data model so they are enforced, not remembered.
Mapped To Real Services
Every capability below is an existing WebNuvexa service page.
➤ Web Development — Course delivery front-ends, programme pages, and the enrolment path end to end.
➤ Custom Software — Progress tracking, assessment engines, cohort tooling and reporting for completion evidence.
➤ API Development — LMS, CMS, SIS and library system integrations with replayable, contract-tested adapters.
➤ Mobile App Development — Learner apps for offline-capable content, progress sync and in-field assessment.
➤ SaaS Development — Multi-institution platforms where each institution, tenant or cohort is a hard boundary.
➤ Legacy Modernization — Replacing an unsupported LMS or retiring content formats that cannot be maintained.
➤ DevOps & Cloud — Media delivery, capacity for cohort peaks, and environment separation per institution.
➤ AI Development — Tutor and feedback assistants with evaluation, guardrails and explicit hand-off to a person.
➤ Chatbots & Assistants — Course and admin support deflection that escalates rather than improvises answers.
➤ UI/UX Design — Accessible learning interfaces designed for focus, low bandwidth and assistive technology.
➤ Design Systems — A WCAG-oriented component library shared across learner, educator and admin surfaces.
➤ Motion Design — Progress feedback that does not distract from reading or assessment.
➤ Local SEO — Campus and programme pages targeting the catchment areas that actually apply.

Indicative Engagement Shapes
Illustrative fixed-fee phase structures only. Procurement and accessibility timelines should shape the plan, not the other way round.
Learning And Platform Scoping
Delivery model, cohorts or self-paced, the LMS and systems you must integrate with, learner age range and consent obligations, and the WCAG level you are contractually held to.
Core Build
The main fixed-fee tranche: delivery front-end, integration layer, progress and assessment engines, and the learner and administrator surfaces for that scope.
Accessibility And Cohort Readiness
Manual keyboard and screen-reader passes, media and caption audit, performance testing on constrained connections, and a load rehearsal for enrolment day.
Termly Support
A separately priced retainer aligned to academic terms, covering content changes, new cohorts, dependency currency and incident response during teaching periods.
Who This Is Not For
Honest filters on education work.
A Course Marketplace
If you need a storefront with video hosting and email delivery, that is e-commerce plus content, and it should be scoped as such. It is not an EdTech platform engagement.
An SIS Or ERP Replacement
Student information, finance and HR systems are a different product category with their own procurement and integration reality. We build the layer that sits alongside them.
Accreditation Readiness Promised
We do not promise accreditation outcomes, prepare submissions, or make representations to accrediting bodies. We build the system and the evidence artefacts.
Content With No Subject Owner
Course content must come from qualified subject experts. If nobody on your side will own accuracy, we would rather scope a smaller platform honestly.
Building for an education provider?
Tell us the delivery model, the systems you have to integrate with, the age range of your learners and any accessibility level you are held to. We will scope from there.
